3-4 cups sliced Apples
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 cup unsalted Butter
3 Tablespoons Flour*
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a 8 or 9 inch tart pan, shallow pie dish, or baking pan with the pie dough.
Be sure and line the sides too.
In a large bowl, toss the apples with the lemon juice, then with the Cinnamon & Nutmeg.
Place the apples into the pan, make a fancy pattern if you want.
In a small saucepan on low heat, heat the butter and Flour until bubbly and thickens slightly.
Add the Sugars and the water and stir.
Turn up the heat a little to medium-low. Stir and cook until entire mixture thickens.
Pour the mixture over the top of the apples as evenly as possible.
Bake with a sheet underneath to catch the drippings or leaks.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, until the apples are tender and the top is caramelized.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream!
